The team at Triple M's Hot Breakfast were celebrating the anniversary of Darce's first AFL game, which happened 25 years ago today.
They went looking for callers for anyone who was there for Darce's only game in the 1994 AFL season, where he ranked up two handballs and one tackle.
They found one: 'Brad from Footscray'.
Turns out Darce was stitched up by 364-game Bulldog Brad Johnson!
"What an honour it is to speak with Luke! I watched every single game of Luke's. Absolutely unbelievable talent he was," Brad laughed.
"One question for you though Darce: was it beamed like back to the Angler's Tavern?"
