The Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association T20 Grand Final is approaching this Friday night. North Kal have been patiently waiting as they qualified pre Christmas, but their opponent Hannans got up over Great Boulder on February 1 to secure a spot.
But this Friday night is more than Cricket. The night is a fundraiser for Give Me 5 For Kids which assists the Perth Children's Hospital Goldfields Family Assistance Fund. Entry is via Gold Coin donation to help. The 2019 final will also incorporate the Sunset Pop up Markets and Terra Drilling Community fireworks after the game.
There are set to be over 40 stalls for the market and they incorporate food, drink and entertainment. Its a chance for sport - more importantly cricket to put back and create a spectacle for the community. There will also be a licensed bar area for those over 18, so don't go bringing your own.
