Frankston Pier Has Snapped And Floated Away Due To The Wild Weather

We copped some real wild weather in Victoria overnight.

So much so Frankston Pier has completely snapped.

Posts emerged on social media on Friday morning of the end of the pier stuck in the waves as significant wind and rain lashed the beach.

The pier eventually washed up on the beach, with another video showing Channel 9's Mark Santomartino trying to leap onto the pier and slipping over.
