Jake Granville is all smiles this morning after a successful hearing last night with the NRL judiciary.

Our boys in blue and grey came away with the win on Saturday night against the Eels, but Granville came off the field with a grade one dangerous contact charge for attacking the legs of Mitchell Moses, while the Eels player was airborne in the third minute.

Cowboys GM Peter Parr explained at the hearing that Granville's target area was above Moses' legs, and highlighted that the Cowboy first made contact before the Moses jumped.

The 30-year-old has avoided suspension and will now have another chance to impress Coach Kev ahead of Origin selection.

Granville says it was nerve-racking wait, with the judiciary taking 25 minutes to come to the final decision.
