Mason Cox will miss another week due to a syndesmosis injury, a diagnosis Tom Browne broke on the Hot Breakfast three weeks ago:

Cox trained today but will not make the trip to Sydney for Friday’s game against the Swans, while Taylor Adams has fallen short in a fitness bid.

Meanwhile defender Tom Langdon may have to have surgery on a knee injury he copped in the win over St Kilda on Saturday, as the Pies aren’t sure of the extent of the injury.

"We're still working that out (how bad the injury is), coach Nathan Buckley said in a presser.

“We're getting some opinions from the medical fraternity. He's had some issues with that knee before.

“We're still working out exactly what it is, but it's problematic.”

"It's probably going to be at least a couple of weeks whilst we work out how it reacts to load. He couldn't load-bear on it by the end of the game and it blew up quite considerably.”
