Triple M's Paul Roos says Carlton seems to have lost their identity, judging by Brendon Bolton's comments last night.

LISTEN TO ROOS:

The Blues went down to the Roos by a whopping 86 points on Saturday night, which has put the club back under the microscope.

Bolton said post-match the loss was "not what we stand for" and that he was "clearly disappointed".

Roos believes the club seems to have wavered from their strong identity and game plan forged last year, noting the GWS game from last year.

'I think we did the Giants game (last year) and they won. They beat the Giants. They’ll just persevere, persevere, persevere and did and they won the game," he said.

"Now, I think what Brendon’s saying is they’ve lost their identity. They’ve lost what they stand for a bit.

"That’s obviously up to the coaching staff to really get back and demand in the four walls what they really do want to stand for."
