The Shift Festival is a free event celebrating young people during Youth Week WA. Come along for the arvo to join in with the chill vibes and win a double pass to GTM just for being there! There are a variety of awesome activities suitable for all ages including:

- Basketball WA 3x3
- Skateboarding Clinics (Bunbury Skatepark)

- Range of stallholders with Henna Tattoos, Flower Crowns, Smoothie Bike and Drumbeat

The City of Bunbury is ecstatic to announce Arno Faraji as the headlining act for this year’s Shift Festival presented by Drug Aware taking place on Saturday 13 April at the Graham Bricknell Music Shell. 

The Perth hip hop artist and winner of the 2017 Triple J Unearthed High Competition will join Bunbury musicians Butter, Joan and the Giants and local songstress Elavina Williams on stage. 

As well as a concert there will be plenty of activities such as sumo suits, Freerun X5, inflatables, skateboarding clinics, 3x3 basketball, laser tag and more. 

There will also be a host of stalls including henna tattoos, flower crowns, smoothie bike and drumbeat as well as the Drug Aware chillout zone. 

Revellers won’t go hungry with a tasty selection of food trucks on site not to mention a pop-up mocktail bar. 

The festival will be held in conjunction with Youth Week WA and celebrates all things youth however the whole community is invited to attend this free event. 

This is an annual drug, alcohol and smoke free event delivered by Bunbury's Youth Advisory Council (YAC) in collaboration with the City of Bunbury. 

Bunbury Youth Mayor Sean Smith encouraged everyone to come along and enjoy the action. 

“This is the fifth year of the event which continues to grow and the Youth Advisory Council is proud to bring something exciting and relevant to Bunbury’s young people,” Mr Smith said. 

“This year’s event is set to be the biggest to date.” 

The Shift Youth Festival will kick off at 3pm until 8pm. Free shuttle buses will be running to the Graham Bricknell Music Shell from designated Bunbury areas.  

A double pass to Groovin the Moo will be up for grabs to anyone who attends.
