Sunday Trading Hours Begin In Kalgoorlie-Boulder This Weekend

Sunday trading hours are set to come in to effect this weekend in Kalgoorlie, seeing standard hours ranging from 9am-2pm, starting this Sunday, March 24.
Coles in both Hannans and Kalgoorlie and Woolworths have indicated on their websites that they will begin Sunday trading this week.
Here's all you need to know on the variation of retail reading hours as approved by the State Government this week:
General retail shops, other than motor vehicle shops, in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder local government district are authorised to be open at times when those shops would otherwise be required to be closed, in accordance with the Table.

General retail shops in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder local government district are required to be closed on public holidays.
Small business owners have been concerned on the impact Sunday trading hours will have on their business. The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KBCCI) said they would work with Council to provide entertainment and activities in the CBD (Burt & Hannan streets) to encourage locals to get out and about on Sundays.
