Social Media posts have revealed a strangely placed road sign in Melbourne's inner-east.
The road sign in question is near the Chandler Hwy in Kew, and as revealed by Seb Costello on The Hot Breakfast this morning, it's causing quite the headaches for local cyclists - as it literally has the ability to take their head off...
This morning on Triple M Melbourne, Seb Costello got to the bottom of it.
A statement from Major Road Projects Victoria declared the sign itself is in the right position...it's just the wrong type of sign.
“The sign was on shared-user path, which was currently under construction. So it didn’t pose a safety threat,” the statement read.
