Triple M's Wayne Carey says GWS will not win a final playing "pretty football" like they did yesterday against St Kilda.

LISTEN TO DUCK EXPLAIN:

The Giants escaped with a draw over the Saints at Etihad Stadium, in which Duck criticised them for their brand of football.

“GWS will not win a final, if they think they can play like that and win finals," he said on the Sunday Rub.

"It is not a brand that stacks up in big games. Clearly that wasn’t a big game and it didn’t stack up, even against St Kilda."

Duck said the team does not have much to them other than "pretty football", which Paul Roos contrasted with Richmond's 2017 premiership team.

"They just want it all on their terms…even when they fall over, they fall over pretty," he said.

"They want everything to look good and flashy and the link-up handballs running off half back and these one, two, three handballs and they glide across the ground and spear the ball to Jeremy Cameron on the lead.

"Take that element away from them, that pretty football, and they’re useless."
